04/04/2022 • Brigadier General Dr. Árpád Pohl as the Dean of the Faculty of Military Sciences and Officer Training, which is an element under the University of Public Service seated in Budapest, Hungary, paid visit to the Brno University of Defence in 28 – 29 March, in the company of Acting Vice Dean For International Affairs Colonel Prof. Dr. (Col.) Klára Siposné Kecskeméthy. They accepted the invitation from university rector-commandant and arrived to resume the high-level contacts between the two higher education institutions that suffered from the lockdown period caused by pandemics.

The leaders of the two schools used the opportunity to meet personally and to get acquainted with the new management members. They presented the current university/faculty structures, goals and missions, but primarily set the framework of cooperation. Among other topics, they discussed continuation in Fourlog practical training programme or the options for further participation in Maglite international exercise (UK-HU exercised focused on logistic support operational planning) or contribution to “common public exercise” held by the Hungarian university and aimed at crisis management.
