An instrument that makes it able is Thermo Scientific LTQ XL completed with LC Ultimate 3000 in a micro/nano versions, an instrument that recently expanded the laboratory pool of the NBC Defence Institute of the University of Defence.
The instrument acquisition was possible thanks to the Ministry of Defence system. Another instrument, identic to this one, equips the modernised AL3 mobile laboratory deployed at the 31st regiment of radiological, chemical and biological protection at Liberec city. As the institute is responsible for the training of the laboratory crews, the instrument offers combining scientific research and CBRN special training for the CBRN corps.
