03/30/2021 • Traditional ceremony under untraditional circumstances. That was the best University of Defence teachers appreciation event held on the occasion of Teachers’ Day which belongs to 28 March every year. Following the adopted epidemic countermeasures, the ceremony took place on 29 March 2021 attended only by a part of the selected teachers.

The unfavourable epidemic situation in the past year required unconventional abilities from the teachers applied to distant teaching. The appreciated teachers, along with most of the academic staff and lectors of the University of Defence, proved a high level of creativity, personal effort and teaching excellence. The facts mentioned the vice-rector for education and students issues Colonel doc. Ing. Petr Hrůza, Ph.D., who acted on behalf of the rector-commandant.

Rector-Commandant appreciated the teaching performance in 2020 of the following academic staff members and lectors: doc. Ing. Alena Oulehlová, Ph.D., Mgr. Ing. Leopold Skoruša, Ph.D., doc. RNDr. Jaromír Kuben, CSc., LTC Ing. Adolf Jílek, Ph.D., MUDr. Vojtěch Humlíček, Ph.D., CAPT Ing. Bc. Dušan Trefilík, MAJ Ing. Markéta Licková, PhDr. Jana Tomšů, Mgr. Magdalena Veselá and LTC Mgr. Marek Kulich.
